Introduction:

Achieving success as a strategic partner within your organization requires strong consulting and relationship-building skills. The Certified Consultant program provides an opportunity to develop effective internal consulting skills that enable you to help your clients achieve desired results, define objectives, and manage expectations. It also equips you to guide clients through instructional design or organizational development projects—helping them overcome obstacles and resistance while building your credibility to influence decision-making.

Learning professionals must demonstrate strong consulting capabilities to successfully guide their organizations toward optimal performance. This program ensures you can apply the most effective behaviors and processes for internal consulting within your organization, while practicing core consulting competencies using tools that can be immediately applied in the workplace.

Through collaboration in small groups, participants will follow a case study from start to finish, applying their skills to consulting scenarios, problem-solving exercises, role-play meetings, and the development of checklists, surveys, and decision-making frameworks—just as consultants do in real-world settings.

By the end of the program, participants will be able to create a personal development plan for continuous improvement.
